    Having Problems with Sky Remote?

    Q. I wish to synchronise my SKY remote to my new LEXSOR LCD, is there a code for this operation?
    A. We have received codes 1224, 1196 and 0150 from BskyB and we are aware that these codes do not work for everyone. We are speaking with BskyB, NTL and Telewest about obtaining updated codes however we are unable to guarantee a timeframe. We will be placing any new codes we receive here so best to check there every now and again. Thank you for your patience

    Q. Will my remote work?
    A. All SKY remotes that is REV6 or higher will work using this code.

    Q. What is REV6?
    A. Every now and again BskyB updates it remote control units and each time it does this, the remotes are branded with a code. Each update is known as a revision or “REV”. The LEXSOR codes were introduced on the sixth revision thus “REV6”.

    Q. How do I know if my remote is compatible?
    A. Simply remove the battery cover from your SKY remote and look for a four digit code beginning with “REV”. If this code is REV6 or higher then your remote is compatible, however if it shows REV5 or lower then it will not work.

    Q. What do I do if I have REV5 or lower?
    A. You’re nearest SKY dealer will have a supply of remotes that he can sell to you.

    Q. Will this new remote work for me?
    A. It is possible that this new remote is REV5 or lower so you will need to double check the code inside the battery cover.
